The first known recorded burial was that of Mary Smith, wife of Captain John Smith, a tenant farmer. Mary Smith was the daughter of James Bill, one of the first permanent residents of Pullin Point (Winthrop). He married (1) at Roxbury, 1 Aug 1647, Catherine Morrill, daughter of ISAAC MORRILL {1632, Roxbury}.
He married (2) at Reading, 6 Jan 1662[/3?] Mary Bill.
He died at Revere, 21 Sep 1706.11
