Uncle Will was a farmer in Clay County, Missouri when the children were small. After Georgia died he moved into Kansas City to work. The children went to live with his sister, Lena, and her husband, Harvey Johnson.
It must have been later that he met and married Mattie Daniels. Sometime after she died, Minnie was living in Boulder, Colorado, and Uncle Will moved out to live with her. He worked in the power plant for the University of Colorado. 339,505
