Rollo, or R. L., graduated from the U. S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, and served as a Captain in the Navy during World War I. He founded the R. L. Faubion Steel Tank Company in Kansas City. He was active in many civic organizations. They had an acreage just outside of Kansas City, and are believed to have had a summer home in the Colorado Springs area of Colorado. When R. L. retired, he and Mary moved to Sun City, Arizona. At the time of his death there were 19 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. 339
