Notes for Emanuel Kaspar Liebst
Kaspar was shot while trying to restrain his brother Richard who had shot another man in the face on August 15, 1882. Richard put the gun to his brothers abdomen and fired the gun. Kaspar later died of his wound. Richard ran off but was captured on the other side of the bridge near the Kansas side.
