Probate Judge in St. Joseph Missouri from 1907 - 1915.2
His obituary says that he was born in Pennsylvania and came to St. Joseph in 1884. He was Probate Judge in Buchanan County from 1907 to 1915. According to his daughter’s memory, he put himself through business college at night while teaching school by day. He eventually became the court
stenographer and then worked for ex-judge Ramey, with whom he “read law” and passed the Bar. He opened a law practice with K.B. Randolph, Peter J. Carolus and Stephen Brown.2
