MANNING-HASTINGS - The engagement of Miss Sally Jean to Dr. Richard B. Manning, son of Dr. and Mrs. William Perry Manning, of this city, is announced by the prospective bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter R. Hastings, of Watertown, N. Y.

Miss Hastings is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Oral Hygiene School.

Dr. Manning was graduated from Williams College, Temple University School of Dentistry and the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Medicine.
