Ross G. Pendergast, 78, Hays Good Samaritan Center, died Thursday, May 30, 2002, at Hays Medical Center. He was born Jan. 6,1924, in St. Joseph, Mo., to Francis G. & Katherine F (Ross) Pendergast.
He graduated from Rockhurst College in Kansas City in 1951. He moved to Hays in 1969. He was a psychologist for High Plains Mental Center until his retirement.
There are no immediate survivors.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Brock North Hill Chapel, 2509 Vine, with Father Earl Befort officiating; private burial services will be at a later date at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hays.
Memorials are suggested to High Plains Mental Health Center.
