Lutheran pastor who emigrated to America in 1853. Served in Wisconsin at Naugart, Ridgeville, Norwalk, and Tomah; St. Paul, MN 1893-1909. Served as a professor at Northwestern College 1889-1893, as well as president of the Minnesota District of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod 1906-1909.
