Margaret M. Zeigler, 84, died Friday in Manhattan at St. Mary Hospital.
She was born January 20, 1887 in Kahler, Russia, and had been a resident of Manhattan for 35 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Zeigler in 1943. Mrs. Zeigler was a member of Seven Dolors Catholic Church and the Alter Society.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Eugene H. (Lenora) Tauer, Nothview St.; Mrs. Ray Paynter, N. 8th St.; Mrs. Helen Chastain, Bertrand St., Mrs. Stella Noland, 1520 Pierre St. Two sons, Jake Zeigler, 334 Summit; and Jewell T. Zeigler of Emporia; 8 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m., Sunday in Conroy All-Faith Chapel with requiem Mass offered at 10 a.m. Monday at Seven Dolors Church with the Rev. James P. Grennan officiating. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery, Wamego.
A memorial is being established to the St. Mary Hospital and contributions may be left at the Conroy Funeral Home.11
