Jeremiah Sr. BEAL was baptised 17d 4m 1631 at Wymondham, Hingham Parish, Norfolkshire, England. He married Sarah RIPLEY 18d 11m 1652 at Boston, Suffolk Co, Massachusetts. Jeremiah Sr. was a blacksmith who had a large family of seven children of whom one was lost in infancy. He appears to have more descendants in number than any of his siblings and half-siblings except for his elder half-sister Mary (BEAL) WHITON.11
