Noah Whipple (son of Samuel Whipple IV and Eunice Mitchell)was born Jan 10, 1741 or 1742, and died Bef. Jun 07, 1774 in ENGLAND? Died of smallpox.. He married Hope Whipple on Nov 07, 1762, daughter of Zachariah Whipple and Elizabeth Rogers"This was the first intermarriage in the family, but later, on account of religion and close association it became prevalent.
Noah Whipple was a sea captain who traded between New London and the West Indies. He died of small pox. Noah died some time before June 7, 1774, as his widow, Hope Whipple, was appointed administratix on that date. Distribution was made to his widow, (alias Gowdy), Aug. 15, 1785, and to the children July 24, 1786. (Probate Records of the Probate Department of the State Library contributed by Geo. S.
