Margaret Ann Faubion was born in Cocke County, Tennessee, the daughter of Jacob Faubion and Priscilla Boydston, who are buried in Faubion Cemetery, Gladstone, Clay County, Missouri.
She married twice. Her first marriage was to Rev. Jacob Broadhurst on January 11, 1842, in Clay County, Missouri. He was the son of Joseph Broadhurst and Dianah Faubion. To the first marriage were born Jacob Broadhurst, James A. Broadhurst, John W. Broadhurst, Joseph Broadhurst, Salina D. Broadhurst, Margaret Broadhurst, and Napoleon B. Broadhurst.
Her second marriage was to Nathaniel Christian Boydston, on May 3, 1856, in Platte County, Missouri. It was a second marriage for him as well. He had first married Margaret's older sister, Dianah Rector Faubion, with whom he had many children.
Nathaniel and Margaret had three children in addition to the children of their former marriages: William Lee Boydston, May 16, 1863, Harriet Ann Roberda Foster Boydston, April 27, 1865, and Samuel Walter Boydston, Sept 26, 1867. 1178
