He was admitted to the freeman’s oath, May 13,1641, implying that he was a member of the church; he had lands assigned to him at Watertown in 1637; was a soldier in King Philip’s War; lived in that part of Watertown, now Weston.
George and his brother, Robert Bullard had adjoining properties.
George Bullard was a soldier in King Philip’s War 1675-6, and was no doubt impoverished, as so many were, their homes burned by the Indians and other property damaged. On Dec 23, 1684, at a meeting of the Watertown selectmen, it was ordered “that John Ball, son-in-law, and Jonathan Bullard, son, be notified of the necessity of help for father Bullard and his wife.”
