Priscilla was the daughter of Israel Mayo and his wife Mercy or Marcy Rider/Ryder of Eastham, Barnstable County, MA. She was one of 7 children, including: Ruth; Mercy; Thomas; Alice; Phoebe; and Esther. She married John Augustus Stocking June 28, 1753. They had nine children: Mercy; Timothy; John; Daniel; Israel;Lucy; Josiah; Alvin and Priscilla. Priscilla lived a long life. She died in 1828 in Middle Haddam, CT. The burial sites for she and her husband are unknown.11
