Zachariah Shaw responded to the Lexington Alarm and served eleven days in Capt. Nathan Alden's Company, Maj Cary's Regiment, on the alarm of July 30, 1780, marching to Tiverton, RI.55
Zackarias was the youngest of 7 children of Joseph Shaw (1664-1718) & Judith Whitmarsh (1669-1760).
