Notes for Joseph Chandler “Joe” Ball
Joseph Chandler Ball, Sr., 82, died at 7900 DeSiard street, Saturday morning. Funeral services will be conducted at Peters Funeral Chapel at 1:30 Sunday. Interment will follow in the New Winnsboro Cemetery under direction of Peters Funeral Home.
Dr. Jaroy Webber will officiate at the funeral with Rev. James Thorne assisting.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. C. T. Thornhill of Winnsboro, Mrs. Ivy May, of West Monroe and Mrs. George F. Whitmire, of Rogers, Ark.; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. J. C. Ball, Jr. of West Monroe; 14 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be J. C. Thornhill, Charles May, Louis Thornhill, Ollie Carter, A. L. Griffin, Jesse L. Norris.
